I've shopped at Makeitbuildit.co.uk a few times before, both on their site and eBay, and while they can be a tad slow with shipping, they've generally been alright. But here's where things went south: my last two purchases were a complete mess.

For the first order, it ended up being sent to the wrong location, 180 miles away! The order had my correct address, but they mixed it up with another one. They did refund the postage, but I had to handle the hassle myself.

Then, for the second order, I bought a set of wheels and tires. I didn’t hear a peep for a week, and just when it was supposed to arrive, they shot me an email saying the wheels were out of stock. Seriously, why wait a whole week to let me know? They mentioned the wheels were back-ordered with no estimated restock date!

I requested a refund and was told it would be sorted in a couple of days. Fast forward 10 working days, and I had to follow up since I hadn’t seen any refund. Turns out, it was yet another mistake on their part, and eventually, it got processed.

I ended up ordering from Modelsport and got my items the very next day. I’ll definitely think twice before giving them another shot.
